Snitch Unit System
Please understand the example and submit any feedback via the survey questions. The Snitch currently has an easy to follow rating system that can be found at: http://www.vegassnitch.com/content/?page=69 Please understand the play types. As you can see all plays are listed with MAXIMUM percentile you can risk . The reason it is for maximum is to give you flexibility based on your own relative risk. However, the percentile strength gives you a gauge of our confidence in the plays. For example, if you are up a lot and we release a Perfect Storm you can play it as low as 1% to the maximum of 6%. This is for your own comfort risk level. Keep in mind Vegas Sports Entertainment uses the maximum scale, BUT you must follow to your own risk without exceeding the maximums for each play. To simplify and apply even further, you can also convert this percentile system very easily to a point conversion system. Here's how this would look: INSIDER PLAY - An Insider play lists for a MAXIMUM of 10% strength. Convert 10% to points is 10 points. Now divide by 2 to make this your 5 point play, or 5 units. 5 units for a $100 bettor would mean betting 500 dollars on this play. PERFECT STORM PLAY - A Perfect Storm play lists for a MAXIMUM of 6% strength. Convert 6% to points is 6 points. Now divide by 2 to make this your 3 point play, or 3 units. 3 units for a $100 bettor would mean betting 300 dollars on this play. VAULT PLAY - A Vault play lists for a MAXIMUM of 4% strength. Convert 4% to points is 4 points. Now divide by 2 to make this your 2 point play, or 2 units. 2 units for a $100 bettor would mean betting 200 dollars on this play. MD PLAY - A MD play lists for a MAXIMUM of 2% strength. Convert 2% to points is 2 points. Now divide by 2 to make this your 1 point play, or 1 units. 1 units for a $100 bettor would mean betting 100 dollars on this play. IN SUMMARY - For those who want to convert the Snitch percentile system to units, it would look like this as we discussed above: Insider = 5 Units (A $100 bettor risks $500) Perfect Storm = 3 Units (A $100 bettor risks $300) Vault = 2 Units (A $100 bettor risks $200) Md = 1 Unit (A $100 bettor risks $100)
EXAMPLE - Let's look at an example with Tuesday's breakdown converting to units would look like: INSIDERS = -6 units (+5 units -11 units with two losses. This included juice) PERFECT STORMS = + 18 units (6-0 night = 6 x 3units = 18 units) VAULTS = - 4.6 (1-3 night = + 2 units. - 6.6 units with juice = - 4.6 units) MD's = -1.2 (1- 2 night = + 1 units - 2.2 units = -1.2 Units) GRAND TOTAL = + 18 Units won - 11.8 Units lost = PLUS 6.2 UNITS!!! For a $100 bettor this be: 18 Units won X $100 = $1800 won. 11.8 Units lost X $100 = $1180 dollars lost $1800-$1180 = PLUS $620 !!! REMEMBER - Anytime on any day you end up with over +5 units it is a huge night as it would put you up one Insider play at a minimum. This system is a concrete classic way to simplify and calculate more concretely your net gains and losses from the play types. For example, if you lose an Insider, but win three Vaults, you should be up money when you follow the system and convert to units. That would also be true with the percentage system, but difficult for followers to calculate with percentages because of relative risk. So, the above is a classic way you can convert the Snitch system to a Unit or Point system to make following even easier. This is just an example as you can make your own conversions, but the one rule you cannot change is the MAXIMUM amounts. However, if you decide to go with a Unit system, we highly encourage you to use the above example. We believe this is the best way and most effective way to convert play types to Units. Very simple. To help demonstrate and track the Snitch will often use the unit conversion system to determine daily results and therefore clarify winning and losing days
