We all know it depends on a team’s particular need, but let’s face it, if a team has a chance to get a stud running back or a game breaking wide receiver, it’s going to pick the latter nine times out of ten.

Coaches in today’s NFL seem to want to shift more to a shared role at running back anyway for fear of wearing out one player too fast. It’s a tough position and consequently has the shortest shelf life out of any other position. So why take a running back in the first round when they are going to share the load anyway? Obviously the exception goes to a guy like Jones-Drew, but the reason that guy gets the ball so much is because Jacksonville has a pathetic passing game and can’t move the ball at all unless Jones-Drew is toting the rock.

You could argue that Arian Foster of Houston carries the load for the Texans and they are a legitimate contender, but Foster wasn’t even drafted so that still works to our argument that running backs are not a high priority early in the draft. If a free agent can perform as well as Foster has, no need to try and draft a running back with an early pick. The Pittsburgh Steelers could be another team that that thinking applies to, as Isaac Redman (another free agent) figures to carry the load while Rashard Mendenhall recovers from a late-season knee injury suffered last year.

All in all we believe that today’s NFL necessitates the drafting of as many playmaking wide receivers as possible when looking to upgrade a team’s offense. Of the four wide receivers ranked in the top 32, two of them (Justin Blackmon and Michael Floyd) are rated in the top ten, while all three quarterbacks are rated there as well; Andrew Luck, Robert Griffith III and Ryan Tannehill.

Let’s face it, since the bubble screen and quick hitch have become extensions of the running game, a need for more receivers and better quarterbacks is inherent.

There isn’t a better argument for that case than the New Orleans Saints. Last year they drafted Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram out of Alabama. The move prompted the move of Reggie Bush to the Dolphins and Saints backers were excited about the prospects of Ingram bolstering the ground game for Sean Payton. We know injuries cut his season short, but Ingram only carried the ball 122 times last year, or an average of 12.2 times per game when he was in the lineup.

What kind of dominance can you expect with such a small dose of carries there?

Everyone knows that Payton thinks pass first, second and third so that pick is sure to turn out as a waste, even despite the fact the Saints head coach has to sit out this year.

The league has definitely shifted folks, so there’s no need to think that your favorite team’s’ success hinges on whether or not they have a dominant ground game. We saw three quarterbacks throw for over 5,000 yards last year and the question is not whether anybody will do it this year, but how many?

For that we say take a seat running backs. If your name isn’t Richardson you won’t be getting any phone calls on day one of the draft.

The Sad State of Hockey

Promotions
<guid

This after Schenn had just been called for a charging penalty for running Pittsburgh’s Paul Martin.

Those are just two minor incidents that have occurred in a series that has seen Pittsburgh mega star Sidney Crosby dropping the gloves with Philly phenom Claude Giroux, defensemen Kris Letang and Kimmo Timonen body slamming each other after Crosby and Giroux had already started their tussle, and finally the after whistle fight between Craig Adams and Philly uber pest Scott Hartnell, which concluded with Adams pulling Hartnell’s hair.

Really NHL? We’ve been reduced to this garbage?

What the fans really want, what everyone really wants, is what the international game or the olympic game gives us. Wide open, fast skating, beautiful playmaking hockey. Take a look at any of the olympic games when the professionals started playing in them. Any game from any year is an absolute masterpiece on ice. The playmaking and the skating just makes these games so entertaining to watch. The stars are allowed to shine, something the league seems to frown upon during the playoffs.

Yes, you heard us right.

The league gives us the impression it would rather see the thugs rule the game in the postseason, since they aren’t even penalized for some of their infractions that would warrant jail time if they were performed outside of the rink.

Can you imagine if the NBA allowed its superstars to be treated like the NHL does theirs? What would the league be like if thugs were allowed to continually hack and gode players like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Kevin Durant into taking retaliatory fouls against them?

Of course you would never see that because the NBA and its fan base WANTS to see the superstars doing what they do best!

But the NHL seems content to buy into the crazy, cro-magnum logic that it’s just “playoff hockey” when guys take head shots. Or start scrums after the whistle for no reason. Or take cheap knee shots.

It’s small wonder the league tolerates that kind of behavior considering it allows morons like Mike Milbury to serve as analysts on their national broadcasts that run on NBC. Yes the same Mike Milbury who went up into the stands to fight a fan when he played for the Bruins. And the very same Mike Milbury who was arrested for assaulting a 12-year-old boy at one of his son’s hockey games.

Milbury recently went on a Philadelphia radio station and criticized the Penguins Sidney Crosby, poking fun at his history of concussions and suggesting that someone should hit him because he’s a “punk”.

Could you imagine the crew for the NBA on TNT saying something like that about Kobe? Or maybe an NFL analyst like John Clayton making light of a player who was suffering from concussion issues?

The NHL is right where it belongs when it comes to the hierarchy of sports and our feeling is it’s going to be surpassed soon by soccer. Considering soccer has never really taken flight in this country that’s saying something. And we think that it maybe already has since soccer does receive more air time for highlights right now on ESPN than the NHL does.

It’s a shame because hockey can be, and is, a spectacular sport to watch when the game is played like it’s meant to be. But if the league doesn’t care enough to curtail the current criminal acts that are being played out on the ice during these playoffs, then it can slowly drift away into oblivion for all we care.

The choice is theirs but it’s becoming painfully evident (especially to the superstars on the ice) that the league thinks the real attractions are the thugs that are taking liberties at the expense of players that have the actual skill.

For that we say shame on you NHL for allowing the inmates to run the asylum.

The Snitch Chauffeur…a MUST have!

Promotions
<guid

It’s not like it doesn’t have a proven track record either, having indirectly helped build the NFL into a billion-dollar empire.

It’s the world of sports betting, or the more widespread term “gambling”.

What better way to give this country the jolt it needs to break out of this recession than to legalize gambling across all 50 states?

First we need to delve into the pros and cons of such a move to better understand how it would help this country. The immediate benefit for such a move would be the taxes imposed on it. If the United States were to legalize gambling it could in turn tax the industry and receive a major portion of funds from such. Look at the statistics. The Nevada Gaming Commission reported that there was over $87 million bet on Super Bowl XLV earlier this year. Now we understand that it represents the biggest single wagering day of the year for this country, but that is money bet on one game in one state!

Now you also have to consider the amount of money going overseas to the offshore sports books not only for the Super Bowl, but every single day. Instead of allowing all that money to leave this country (and missing out on the opportunity to tax it), it could then stay on these shores which in turn would allow an opportunity for it to do more good for this economy. There’s no risk in keeping that money here, because win or lose it’s going to directly have an impact on OUR economy.

A healthy economy means more value for the US dollar. That in turns helps aid the money markets. All of this has a trickle-down effect in society. Businesses operate at a healthy level. No more cuts in wages or workforce. A more stable economy also means the cost of living goes down.

Everyone benefits!

And to think the answer is sitting right there for everyone to see, yet it remains untouched because the subject matter is deemed taboo or unscrupulous.

Look, the myth that Vegas would somehow infiltrate the ranks and start fixing the outcomes of sporting events if gambling was legal is just that…a myth. Nobody polices the industry better than Vegas because it stands to lose money if a game is fixed! Everyone knows the goal of the Vegas sportsbooks is to get equal action on both sides of a game, which ensures a profit for the books. If there is suspicious activity surrounding a game, Vegas is the first to notice it, red-flag it and pull the game off the board. The same would be true of sportsbooks across the country if gambling was legal. Those books would work in tandem with one another to keep an even closer watch on games to make point-shaving next to impossible.

The other obvious benefit of legalized gambling would be the jobs that were created out of it. If there were sportsbooks going up across the country it would create jobs on the level that our government is struggling to reach. New sportsbooks mean new jobs that are created from the CEO down to the valet.

Now the drawbacks would be the obvious, that we as society would be feeding an addiction with the legalization of gambling. This is a pure cop out by those who don’t want to see this happen. If we as society were so concerned with feeding addictions, how do you explain alcohol and tobacco? Both are legalized, advertised and taxed. And we can assure you both cause more health-related issues than gambling.

Besides, an addiction would be more readily identified through legalized sportsbooks and more apt to be dealt with by the appropriate fellowships.

As far as a success story, we again touch on the NFL. There is no way the NFL reaches the level of success it enjoys right now without gambling. You’ll NEVER hear Roger Goodell or any other league official admit that, but without gambling there wouldn’t be half the interest in the NFL that there is now. Where do you think the weekly injury report stemmed from? It was created by the NFL so the gamblers would not have inside access to information that would give them an advantage over the books. Monday Night Football routinely boasts high television ratings, no matter how bad the game is, because there is a gambling interest in it.

We sincerely doubt one small editorial will sway this argument in our favor whatsoever. But YOU can make a difference. If this movement is taken on at the smallest level it can quickly snowball into an effective argument for the cause. What do we have to lose? Our nation continues its downward spiral and there will come a time when we cannot effectively recover. Our deficit continues its record-breaking levels, as we’ve accumulated over $4 trillion in debt in just the last three years!

The time has come for a call to action that will help this country recover and rediscover its economic dominance once again.

Let’s hope that in the annals of history the future generations will look back on this time like we look back at the prohibition era and state, “we can’t believe it used to be like that!” That would mean that gambling did indeed become legalized.

Welcome Followers! A testament that we have always updated and evolved to give you the best product in this industry. This time we hit our longest home run ever. Not only have we made this site so simple to follow, but as we promised eleven years ago: some day EVERYONE will be able to follow the Snitch. That is correct. We have arrived at that turning point in Snitch history. A history with such opulence and such a brand without the blemishes that nearly every other site carries with it from lack of honesty and performance to simply insulting your intelligence. Those days are gone forever for you. We have spoken compassion and integrity for 11 years, and we stuck to our promise that the day will come when YES you can follow the Snitch every day at every day low prices. Most important, YOU WIN! And you have REAL people who have a heart and compassion for everyone. You know our cherished history. You know the legend of the Snitch, and most importantly you know about the integrity and performance. The time has come were we promise Betting Will NEVER be the Same!

Gone are the days where you follow the ego world of cappers who have the arrogance that just because they watch a lot of sports or played the game; they can beat the sports markets. By now you know, EVERYONE of them loses in the long run yet they insult you after proving they lose; they come back telling you they don’t. Well, those days are gone. Trust us, if those people were beating the markets, they would be on 60 minutes. Well, at the Snitch our intent has always been to be your Snitch. To give you the picks of those who appear on 60 minutes. Let’s face it, if you’re not with the Insiders, you’re outside. As fund managers, we know the key to success in ANY market is to be with the smart money legally. And most important, to leave your ego at home if you know someone else simply knows more than you and your resources. Again, we find it insulting that people are out there charging you money for picks based on their gut instincts. This industry had to change, and we finally did it. We became the ‘bar’ and set the stage. We went to Twitter, and in less than 7 months later- 20,000 followers awaits! This list of followers includes A-List celebrities who have commented with such quotes as, “you guys are absolutely great. At least someone stands up for the people.” Or how bout another A-Lister, “I do not bet, but I love sports and the stock markets and I haven’t seen anyone more accurate. Keep it up. Oh and thanks.”

But, we had to do more. Much more. We had to truly share our DNA. Despite relying on a massive network of resources, we needed to connect with you on a DNA level. Who we are and what makes this network. We have heard it all from people saying we are a group of odds makers to secret society to Ivy League geeks who write software programs. Assumptions to us are funny, because they are just that: assumptions. Our DNA is that ‘Education Runs the Nation.’ Meaning that we surround ourselves with pure knowledge at the top tier level. That you are getting opinions from the best of the best institutions and from the most successful and brightest. And it was time to introduce the successful Ivy League Road! Yes, www.IvyLeagueRoad.com is now a part of the Snitch! This is your gateway to take a drive with whom we think is the best of the best minds in their respective fields and giving you the angles to exploit it for money making opportunities. You can make fun all you want what do Ivy League guys know about sports and on and on? Trust us, you DO NOT want to go up against the combination of the VegasSnitch and Ivy League Road. This is a one two punch that we INVESTED for YOU, and you WILL see the benefits over time.

Finally, our job first and foremost is to be honest with you and protect you. What does that mean? We are not going to insult you and sell you a pipe dream. Not here. Rather our job is to have you at MINIMUM finish the year with what you started. If you started with 200 dollars and ended with 200 dollars; go head call it what you want, but in the honest world; we protected you from losing by following others! And if that is to be the end result, which it very well could be some years; welcome to the REAL HONEST world of speculative markets. So, please understand this VERY carefully:

Let’s make this enjoyable and stress-free for you. Let’s enhance your experience the Snitch way, but WITHOUT EVER losing your shirt again. It is time that you turn this into fun again, and that you NEVER are in danger of losing more than you can afford. Take it from us: We have the Insiders and Ivy League Road in our corner, others don’t. It’s that simple. While they are selling you a false dream and insulting you with hope; we are telling you that we will keep this stress-free and enjoyable, because odds are you are not going to get super wealthy even following the legendary Snitch. But, that’s just being honest. However, what the Snitch will do; the days of stress and losing your bankroll have come to an end. And in reality, and in the real world: that equates to<span

Let’s hope it is a great one. We have many changes, but a MUCH simpler system and it’s never been so easy to follow the Snitch. Keep in mind the website launch should happen here soon. This will be our fourth website change in eleven years, so you KNOW we are always tailoring to YOUR needs. And right now it’s about people wanting simplicity, and following REAL accredited scholars around in the world of speculation.

The time has come that people MUST have credentials to provide ANY advice in ANY form of market. If someone from Goldman Sach’s has to have a series 7 and probably an Ivy League education, why should the sports market industry be immune? This is what we have connected for you. Bringing the world of Insiders & Scholars into the ONLY place that has this network and can say it has this network period!!!

So, the next time you visit a sports service or any other capper, ask yourself what you are paying for? Some guy who has a ‘gut feeling,’ and trust us that’s more often than not what you are paying for. Or some tough guy might respond, “I played football.” What does that mean? No seriously, what does that mean? Bill Parcells is a legend of a coach, and knows more about football than 99% of bettors, and the oddsmakers would take him to the woodshed.

So, we show you the other-side. Enough of these carnival services who shout and scream and insult you by talking to you like a child in the first place. They are insulting you, by not having ANY credentials whatsoever to be a professional analyst for this sector. Instead they laugh and joke and, at YOUR expense, turn this into a carnival. Visualize how many characters you see in this business who think it’s a joke. You want to know why? Because, they are laughing at you. Put an end to it.

The sports markets and financial markets are serious business, and next time you want to pay a service, ask yourself if they even knows the first thing about statistics and math. Do they look like someone and talk like someone that is from an Ivy League School? Or are they just another scammer pulling off another street huslte? The truth is, it’s all just hustle after hustle. Scheme after scheme. You have sites with many different cappers and faces, so they can claim at least one person every day on their site had a winning day. They have fake names. Fake pictures of cappers who do NOT even exist! Yes the same cappers with different names are all managed by one guy who created those bogus names! This is the carnival these type of individuals have created in this industry.

Isn’t it time you take this more seriously? None of them ever go a whole year free, give out super discounts, refunds, etc. Because they take the money and run. Meanwhile the Snitch takes RISK in every play you see posted.

That brings us to the Ivy League Road.

This is where Harvard meets Vegas. At minimum you are following experts in their respective fields. You are following people who do not think this is a joke. If they did, why do they have their PHD’s? It’s time to dignify yourself, not the scammers. Come on, how much longer can someone keep selling lies until they run dry?

The time has come where the sports markets need to have a STANDARD the same way other speculators have from stock brokers with series 7 exams to Realtors. It starts with YOU! Remember, Lincoln said you can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time. We won’t insult you. YOU are capable of KNOWING who has credentials and has the right to literally manage and allocate your sports markets and who doesn’t. You know who simply opened up a webpage for a quick scheme, and those who have been around for decades and sport teams of educated individuals of the highest levels. You KNOW who has the egos and continue to be in denial that they can beat the book, yet they won’t bet on the games themselves! And you KNOW the very few who have been everything opposite of a blood sucking parasite. Come on. Enough of the carnivals. We are still in a recession and it’s time you take your hard earned money seriously.

With the Snitch at MINIMAL we will protect you with what you started. First, you are basically getting us for free, and next with just our money management you are well ahead. And finally, you’ve seen our capabilities over the years…

Now imagine this: Snitch connects the world of Vegas Scholars & Ivy League Scholars as ONE! Folks, this is NOT a carnival! That is a library of experience and a wealth of knowledge, with accomplished men who realize that without humbleness and humility, even a billion dollars cannot stop the speeding ego going into a direct hit with the black walls of a dungeon.

Have a slice of humble pie and enjoy the ride the Snitch is ready to take you on!

<img
